北海道札幌市の公園に面した敷地に建つ住宅「Lapeinture」。雁木のアプローチを通して奥行きのある空間をつくり、自然を身近に感じられる住まいです。

Lapeintureは、北海道札幌市の緑豊かな公園に面した敷地に建つ住宅です。
細長く奥行きのある敷地の特徴を活かし、外部空間と建物の関係を丁寧に整えました。

建物はカーポートと母屋を分けて配置し、その間を雁木でつないでいます。
雁木によって生まれる長いアプローチは、外から家へとゆっくりと気持ちを切り替える時間をつくります。

訪れる人には奥へと続く空間の広がりを感じさせ、
住まい手にとっては帰宅の時間に静かな余韻をもたらす動線となっています。

公園の緑を身近に感じながら、
素材の質感や光の変化を大切に整えた住宅です。

“Lapeinture” is a house in Sapporo, Hokkaido, designed on a long site facing a park, where a covered walkway (gangi) creates depth and a close connection to nature.

Lapeinture is a residence located on a long and narrow site facing a green park in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

The design takes advantage of the depth of the site by carefully arranging the relationship between outdoor space and the building.

The carport and the main house are placed as separate volumes and connected by a covered walkway known as a gangi.
This walkway forms a long approach that gently transitions from the outside environment into the home.

For visitors, the sequence creates a sense of spatial depth and anticipation, while for the residents it provides a quiet moment when returning home.

Surrounded by the greenery of the park, the house emphasizes the textures of materials and the subtle changes of light throughout the day.

自然との対話を生む室内空間

主な居室はすべて公園の緑に面するように配置し、日常の中に非日常の風景を取り込むことを意図しました。特に、リビング空間は鳥の視線に近い高さとし、樹々の間を行き交う鳥たちと同じ目線で暮らせるようにしました。これにより、四季折々の移ろいを身近に感じられるとともに、都市にありながらも自然とつながる豊かな住環境を生み出しています。

森と住まいをつなぐ中間領域
リビングの外にはバルコニーを設け、室内と森を緩やかにつなぐ中間領域を確保しました。バルコニーは、リビングの延長としても機能し、屋内外の境界を曖昧にすることで、より開放的な空間を実現しています。また、表しの梁を森に向けて架けることで視線を自然へと誘導し、日常の中で常に緑を意識できるように考えて設計しています。

自然と共にある暮らし
この住まいは、建築を通して自然と対話しながら生活することを考えました。長いアプローチがもたらす期待感、室内に取り込まれた非日常の風景、そして森とつながる中間領域の存在。それらが融合することで、住む人に潤いと安らぎをもたらす空間を創り出しました。この場所での暮らしが、心豊かなものとなることを願っています。

An Interior Space that Fosters Dialogue with Nature

All main living spaces are positioned to face the greenery of the park, designed to bring an extraordinary landscape into everyday life. In particular, the living area is set at a height close to a bird’s eye level, allowing residents to share the same perspective as birds weaving through the trees. This creates a living environment where the changing seasons can be felt up close, fostering a deep connection with nature even within an urban setting. Additionally, the exterior insulation prevents internal condensation, ensuring clean and hygienic air quality—essential for a healthcare facility. This approach creates a comfortable space that benefits both patients and staff alike.

A Transitional Space Connecting the Forest and Home
A balcony extends from the living area, serving as a transitional space that gently connects the interior with the surrounding forest. Functioning as an extension of the living room, the balcony blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors, creating a more open and immersive environment. Additionally, exposed beams are directed toward the forest, naturally guiding the gaze outward and ensuring that greenery remains an ever-present element in daily life.

Living in Harmony with Nature
This home is designed to engage in a dialogue with nature through architecture. The long approach creates a sense of anticipation, while the extraordinary landscapes brought into the interior and the transitional space connecting to the forest merge to create an environment that brings tranquility and nourishment to those who live here. It is our hope that life in this space will be one of richness and fulfillment.
