2011-Lime Light北海道札幌の住宅設計プライバシーと光の住まい

北海道札幌市北区の住宅｜ルーバー越しの、あたたかな灯り。

北区の間口が狭く奥行きのある敷地に建つ住まい。
隣地の建物も境界に迫る都市環境の中で、プライバシーと光、そして家族の気配を両立させることを目指しました。

主要な生活空間を2階に配置し、
大きな木製ルーバーで開口部を包むことで、視線を遮りながら柔らかい光を取り入れています。

夜になると舞台のライトが灯るように、
家族の日常という“劇”が静かに始まります。

Located on a narrow and deep lot in Sapporo’s Kita Ward, this house faces the challenge of neighboring buildings pressing against the property boundaries.
The design balances privacy, natural light, and the presence of family throughout the home.

Key living spaces are placed on the second floor,
and large wooden louvers wrap the openings, softening daylight while screening views from outside.

At night, like stage lights turning on,
the everyday “performance” of family life quietly begins.

敷地は間口が狭く奥行きのある都市型敷地。
さらに隣家が境界線近くまで建つ、
閉鎖性の高い環境である。

求められたのは、
・プライバシーの確保
・十分な採光
・家族のつながりを感じる開放感

そこで生活の中心を2階へと持ち上げ、
開口部を大きな木のルーバーの膜で覆った。

このルーバーは視線を制御しながら、
光と風をやわらかく通すフィルターの役割を持つ。

日中は拡散された自然光が室内を満たし、
夕暮れ以降は“Lime Light”が灯る。

その光は、
家族の生活という小さな舞台を照らし、
街に向けてやさしくにじむ。

閉じた都市環境の中にありながら、
内側には開放と温もりが広がる住宅である。

The site conditions were highly constrained:
a narrow frontage, deep lot, and adjacent buildings pressed tightly against the boundaries.

The client requested privacy, abundant natural light,
and a sense of openness that allows the family to feel connected.

To respond, the primary living spaces were elevated to the second floor.
Large wooden louvers act as a permeable membrane—
shielding direct views while softly admitting light and air.

During the day, filtered sunlight fills the rooms.
After sunset, carefully positioned lighting transforms the home into a quiet stage.

The warm glow suggests the presence of family life within,
gently illuminating the street beyond.

This house reimagines urban living—
a private sanctuary that still participates in the life of the city.
