この住まいの特徴は、単なる鉄筋コンクリートの塀ではなく、それが建物の外壁へと変化し、一体感を生み出している点にあります。塀として始まったコンクリートは、建物の壁へとなり、やがて開口部へ緩やかにつながるマテリアルとなっている。

RCの外壁へと変化した先には、西側の山の遠景を望む窓を設けました。重厚な塀と開放的な窓の対比が、住まいに安心感と広がりをもたらし、周囲の景観とも調和します。都市の喧騒から離れた落ち着いた暮らしが、穏やかに街へとにじみ出るように考えました。

The defining feature of this residence is that the reinforced concrete wall is not merely a boundary but seamlessly transitions into the building’s exterior, creating a sense of unity. What begins as a wall gradually transforms into the structure itself, eventually becoming an opening that gently connects the interior and exterior.

A window framing the distant mountains serves as a bridge between the exterior and the home.
At the point where the RC wall transitions into the building’s exterior, a window was placed to frame the distant western mountains. The contrast between the solid wall and the open window brings both a sense of security and expansiveness to the home while harmonizing with the surrounding landscape. This design envisions a serene lifestyle that gently extends into the city, away from the bustle of urban life.
