北海道札幌市西区に建つ住宅「rassembler」。緩やかな傾斜地に三世帯が共に暮らす立体的な住まいです。

敷地は西区の緩やかな傾斜地。
ここに三世帯が共に暮らす住宅を計画しました。

rassemblerは、北海道札幌市西区の緩やかな傾斜地に建つ三世帯住宅です。
三世代が共に暮らす住まいとして、敷地条件と生活動線を丁寧に読み解きながら計画を進めました。

既存住宅のリビングは道路に面しており、東側の公園を望めるものの、通りからの視線が気になり、落ち着いた生活環境を整えることが難しい状態でした。

また、道路と庭の間には高低差があり、屋外階段で行き来する構成となっていましたが、冬季には凍結することもあり、安全面にも課題がありました。

そこで、これらの問題を整理しながら、敷地の高低差を住まいの構成に取り込み、家族それぞれの生活を受け止める空間を整えていきました。

三世代がそれぞれの距離感を保ちながら、ひとつの住まいとして重なり合う。
そんな立体的な暮らしを受け止める住宅です。

“Rassembler” is a three-generation house in Nishi Ward, Sapporo, designed as a layered living environment on a gently sloping site.

Rassembler is a three-generation residence located on a gently sloping site in Nishi Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido.

The project was designed to accommodate three families living together while carefully considering the site conditions and circulation within the home.

In the previous house, the living room faced the road.
Although it offered a view toward a park to the east, the proximity to the street made it difficult to maintain privacy.

There was also a level difference between the road and the garden, connected only by exterior stairs.
During winter, these stairs could freeze, creating safety concerns.

The design therefore began by reorganizing these conditions.
By incorporating the level differences of the site into the spatial composition, the house forms a structure that supports the lives of an extended family.

Each generation can maintain its own sense of distance while sharing one home—creating a layered and interconnected living environment.

3台の車が横並びに駐車される条件のもと、
単調なファサードとならないよう、
カーポートと玄関アプローチの庇を一体的にデザイン。
水平ラインを強調しつつ、緊張感のある表情を与えました。

玄関は道路レベルに合わせ、
室内で奥の庭と同じ1階レベルへとアクセスできる断面構成としています。
これにより、室内にはコンクリートの蓄熱ボリュームを確保し、
同時に玄関から流入する冷気（暖気より重い）を
主要なリビング空間へ直接落とさない計画としました。

玄関から1階へと下りる階段ホールは、
さらに2階へとのびやかに視線が抜け、
訪れる人の期待を徐々に高めていきます。

そして1階に降り立つと、
坪庭を介して西へ広がる庭の緑、緑道、その先の山並みへと
風景が映画のワンシーンのように展開します。

この住まいという器の中で重ねられる日々の断片が、
三世代家族の記憶とともに、
やがて一本の長編映画のように紡がれていくことを願っています。

With three cars required to be parked side by side,
the façade risked becoming monotonous.
To avoid this, the carports and the entrance canopy were designed as a unified architectural element,
creating a composed expression with a sense of tension through strong horizontal lines.

The entrance level aligns with the road,
while the interior section steps down to connect seamlessly with the rear garden at the main first-floor level.
This sectional strategy allows for a substantial concrete thermal mass within the interior
while preventing colder, heavier air from the entrance from flowing directly into the primary living spaces.

The stair hall leading from the entrance to the first floor visually extends upward toward the second floor,
gradually expanding the spatial experience and building anticipation for visitors.

Upon descending to the first floor,
the view unfolds through a small inner courtyard toward the western garden, the greenway beyond, and the distant mountains—
expanding like a scene from a film.

Within this architectural vessel,
the accumulation of everyday moments will intertwine with the memories of three generations,
forming a long and meaningful story over time.
