建物は斜里町の農村地域に計画された住宅です。

クライアントから示されたいくつかのキーワード。

・時間とともに景色となる家
・安心感のある家（見た目に安定感のある、素直な佇まい）
・プライバシーのある空間

この言葉を起点に、建築のあり方を整理しました。

敷地には防風林が並列し、
農村特有の水平な広がりがある。

その風景に抗うのではなく、
防風林に寄り添い、
日常のスケールを崩さない構成としています。

奇をてらうのではなく、
見慣れたかたちの中に安心感を宿すこと。

外部からは穏やかに、
内部では確かなプライバシーを確保すること。

特別な装飾ではなく、
当たり前の暮らしを素直に建築化することで、
やがてこの家も風景の一部となっていくことを目指しました。

This project is a rural home located in Shari.

The client expressed several key ideas at the outset:

A house that will become part of the landscape over time

A home that conveys a sense of reassurance
(a stable, familiar, and unpretentious appearance)

Spaces that ensure privacy

These words became the foundation of the design.

The site is defined by a windbreak forest stretching along its edge,
and by the expansive horizontality characteristic of agricultural landscapes.

Rather than opposing this setting,
the house is composed to sit gently alongside the trees,
respecting the scale and quiet order of rural life.

Instead of seeking novelty,
the design embraces familiarity and stability.

From the outside, the house presents a calm and grounded presence;
within, it carefully secures privacy and comfort.

By giving architectural form to the ordinary patterns of daily life,
the aim is for the house to gradually settle into its surroundings—
eventually becoming a natural part of the landscape itself.
