三方道路という開かれた条件のなかで、
あえて大きな木の箱を敷地いっぱいに被せ、
三つの庭をくり抜く構成とした。

外観は黒く引き締め、
内部は白く染色した板張りで光をやわらかく受け止める。
光の質を整えることで、静かな時間をつくっている。

各室はそれぞれ異なる庭と向き合い、
自然を意識しながら過ごす構成である。

外壁の塗装は住まい手自身が手を加えた。
その揺らぎは、時間の層を先取りするような表情となり、
建築に人の痕跡を重ねている。

建築は完成した瞬間よりも、
住まい手とともに変化する時間のなかで豊かになる。
その可能性を内包した住宅である。

The site conditions—surrounded by roads and exposed to traffic—called for privacy and composure.

A large black wooden box covers the site entirely.
Three staggered voids are carved out, forming intimate courtyards to which the main rooms are connected.

While the exterior is dark and restrained, the carved interior surfaces are clad in white-stained wood, gently diffusing daylight and shaping a quiet, luminous environment.

Each room faces a different courtyard, allowing nature to be sensed subtly and continuously.

The exterior cladding was painted by the client and family members.
The uneven texture that emerged—despite multiple coats—adds depth, as if time had already begun to leave its trace.

Architecture becomes richer when the inhabitants participate in its making.
This house is designed to evolve with them over time.
