la cour–岩見沢の田園風景を望む家｜自然と暮らす開放的な住まい
岩見沢の住宅街に建つこの住まいは、日常の田園風景を特別な風景に昇華させながらプライバシーと解放感を両立させた設計としています。
南側：プライバシーを守りつつ、心地よいコートヤードを設置
南側には住宅街が広がり、道路に面した敷地のため、視線のコントロールが求められました。そこで、カーポートを配置し、視線を遮るアイストップとなる壁を設けました。その奥にコートヤードを設けることで、外部からのプライバシーを確保しつつ、光と風を取り入れた開放的な屋外空間がうまれる。 このコートヤードは、四季折々の光や風を感じられる空間となっており、屋内と屋外が緩やかにつながるように設計されています。
北側：日常の田園風景を昇華させるピクチャーウィンドウ
北側には広大な田園風景が広がり、その一部にはクライアントが管理する田畑も含まれています。一年を通して美しい景色を楽しむことができる恵まれた環境を活かすため、2階に主な部屋を配置し豊かな風景を切り取る横長のピクチャーウィンドウを設置しました。この窓からの眺めは、単なる景色ではなく、クライアント自身が耕し、育てている風景の一部であることを実感できる特別な窓です。
日々の仕事が豊かな田園風景を生み、暮らしに実りをもたらす
この住まいは、日々の農作業が美しい田園風景を作り出し、その風景が生活に豊かさをもたらすという考えのもと設計しています。自然と暮らしが共鳴する住まいとして、周囲の環境を取り入れながら豊かな時間や季節の流れが感じられればと考えました。
la cour – A Home Overlooking the Rural Landscape of Iwamizawa | An Open and Nature-Integrated Living Space
This home, located in a residential area of Iwamizawa, is designed to balance privacy and openness while elevating the everyday rural landscape into a special scenery.
South Side: A Comfortable Courtyard Designed for Privacy
The south side faces a residential area and a road, requiring careful control of sightlines. To address this, a carport was strategically placed, along with a visually shielding wall that serves as an eye-stop. Beyond this wall, a courtyard was created, ensuring privacy from the outside while allowing natural light and airflow to enhance the open outdoor space. This courtyard is designed to capture the changing light and breeze throughout the seasons, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.
North Side: A Picture Window That Elevates the Everyday Rural Landscape
The north side offers a vast rural landscape, including farmland managed by the client. To make the most of this privileged environment, the main living spaces are placed on the second floor, featuring a wide, horizontally oriented picture window that frames the rich scenery. This view is more than just a picturesque landscape—it is a reflection of the land the client cultivates and nurtures, creating a deep, personal connection to the ever-changing natural surroundings.

This home is designed with the idea that daily farming work shapes the beautiful rural landscape, which in turn enriches everyday life. As a residence where nature and living harmonize, it embraces the surrounding environment, allowing residents to experience the richness of time and the changing seasons.
少しだけ分かる様にした。
独特の雰囲気を生み出します。この光により、玄関はただの入り口ではなく、訪れる人に特別な印象を与える空間となります。
