敷地は札幌市清田区の住宅街に位置する。
北側には公園があるが、周囲を含め特別に恵まれた景観条件ではない。

さらに、車2台分の駐車スペース、外部物置、前面道路側の雪捨て場を確保すると、
南側に十分な開口を設けることは難しい状況であった。

そこで、カーポートの裏に庭を設け、
そこへ張り出すようにリビングを配置した。
リビングから裏庭、そして公園へと連続する構成とすることで、
視線の抜けと奥行きを内側に確保している。

クライアントは仕事柄スーツで過ごす時間が長い。
帰宅後すぐに玄関クローゼットで部屋着に着替え、
そのまま家事へ移れる動線とすることで、
生活の切り替えが自然に行えるよう計画した。

キッチンは住まいの中央に配置し、
1階全体を見渡せる位置とした。
常に家族の気配を感じられる構えである。

ご主人はギターを趣味とし、
友人が集まると演奏が始まることもある。
リビングを客席、前面の通路を舞台と捉え、
床レベルに変化を与えることで、
日常の空間がときに非日常へと切り替わる余白をつくった。

整えられた動線と、光の入り方、
そして音楽が流れる時間。

この住まいは、
暮らしの中に心地よいリズムを生み出すことを目指している。

The site is situated in a residential district of Kiyota Ward, Sapporo.
Although there is a park to the north, the surrounding environment is not especially distinguished in terms of views.

After allocating space for two parking spots, an exterior storage unit, and a snow-dumping area along the street,
the southern façade offered limited opportunity for conventional window placement.

In response, a garden was placed behind the carport,
with the living room projecting toward it.
This configuration establishes a spatial sequence
from the living area to the private garden,
and further toward the park beyond,
creating depth and visual continuity from within.

The client, who frequently wears suits for work,
requested a functional daily routine.
Upon returning home, he changes into casual clothes in the entrance closet,
allowing household activities to begin seamlessly.
The circulation supports this natural transition.

The kitchen is positioned at the center of the house,
overlooking the entire first floor
and maintaining a constant awareness of family presence.

As the homeowner enjoys playing the guitar and occasionally hosts small gatherings,
the living room is conceived as an audience space,
while the corridor in front becomes a stage.
Subtle changes in floor level allow the everyday setting
to shift into something slightly extraordinary when needed.

Through considered circulation, controlled light, and moments of music,
the house seeks to generate a comfortable rhythm within daily life.
