人がふと立ち止まり、呼吸を整えられる余白として設計しました。

本計画では、「光」と「余白」を大切な要素としました。

室内は、直接的な明るさではなく、間接光と間接照明を重ねることで、やわらかく包み込むような光環境を整えています。壁や天井に反射した穏やかな光が空間全体に広がり、目や心に負担をかけない明るさをつくり出します。

内装は、優しい色合いを基調とし、体調がすぐれない日でも落ち着いて過ごせる雰囲気としました。光と色が互いに引き立て合い、緊張を和らげる空間を目指しています。

建物は地域の交差点に面しており、道路から少し後退させることで、小さな広場のような前庭を設けました。そこにはベンチを配置し、地域の方がふと腰掛けられる場所としています。通りに対して閉じるのではなく、街に向けてゆるやかにひらく構えとしました。

広場からは、カフェへとつながる軒下の通路が続きます。雨や雪の日でも安心して歩ける動線としながら、薬局とカフェ、そして地域をやわらかく結びます。

建物の内と外、医療と日常、通りと居場所。
それぞれの境界を強く分けるのではなく、光と空間の連なりによって自然に移ろう関係性を整えました。

It was designed as a quiet margin where people can briefly pause and breathe.

In this project, light and spatial generosity were treated as essential elements.

Rather than relying on direct brightness, layers of indirect light and concealed lighting were used to create a softly enveloping atmosphere. Light reflected from walls and ceilings gently spreads throughout the space, establishing a level of illumination that is calm and easy on both the eyes and the mind.

The interior is composed of gentle, muted tones, allowing visitors to feel at ease—even on days when they may not be at their best. Light and color work together to soften tension and restore a sense of balance.

Facing a neighborhood intersection, the building is set slightly back from the street to create a small plaza-like forecourt. A bench is placed there, offering a place for people to pause. Rather than closing itself off, the building opens subtly toward the community.

From this forecourt, a covered walkway extends beneath the eaves, leading toward the café. This sheltered passage provides comfort on rainy or snowy days while gently connecting the pharmacy, the café, and the surrounding neighborhood.

Instead of sharply dividing inside and outside, medical care and daily life, street and gathering place, the architecture allows these relationships to transition naturally through light and spatial continuity.
