既存住宅を活かした美容室リノベーション
2021年にリフォームを行った「ユウコウの家」の1階物置を美容室「sabrina hair」にコンバージョンした計画です。このプロジェクトでは、建物の既存要素を活かしつつ、新たな魅力的な空間を創出することを目指しました。
耐震壁と窓の工夫による新たな表情
建物の耐震壁を活かしながら、既存の正方形の窓を縦長に変更し、開口率を拡大しました。これにより、内部の様子が通りすがりの人々にも見えるようになり、視覚的な魅力を高めています。
サッシとデザインが作り出す印象的な外観
RC躯体の外側にサッシを設置し、ロゴや照明を取り付けることで、看板のように機能させました。夜になると美容室の存在感が際立つデザインとなり、通行人の目を引く外観を実現しています。
軒のデザインで空間の広がりを演出
サッシ上部の雨仕舞の弱点を解消するため、建物全体に軒を回しました。このデザインは、室内外の境界を曖昧にし、室内空間が軒下まで広がるような印象を与えます。これにより、雨の日でも外の空気感を楽しめる空間が完成しました。
動線を工夫した機能的な内部デザイン
限られた既存面積の中で美容室としての動線を工夫しました。利用者が快適に過ごせるよう、機能的でありながら温かみのある空間設計を行っています。
外観と内部の調和が生む魅力
sabrina hairは、外観と内部のデザインが調和し、魅力的で機能的な美容室に仕上げました。既存住宅をリノベーションすることで、個性あふれる空間を生み出し、新たな価値を生み出しました
Renovation of an Existing Residence into a Hair Salon
In 2021, the "Yuko House" underwent a renovation, transforming the first-floor storage space into the hair salon "sabrina hair." This project aimed to utilize the existing elements of the building while creating a new, captivating space.
New Expressions Through Seismic Walls and Window Modifications
While retaining the seismic walls, the existing square windows were transformed into vertical shapes to increase the window area. This change enhances visibility into the interior for passersby, adding visual appeal.
Striking Exterior Design with Sashes and Details
Sashes were installed outside the RC frame, functioning like a signboard with integrated logos and lighting. At night, the salon stands out with a distinctive design that attracts attention from pedestrians.
Eaves Design Enhancing Spatial Expansion
To address weaknesses in waterproofing above the sashes, eaves were extended around the structure. This design blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces, creating the impression of indoor areas extending to the eaves. Even on rainy days, the space allows enjoyment of the outdoor ambiance.
Functional Interior Design with Thoughtful Traffic Flow
Within the limited existing area, the traffic flow was meticulously planned to suit the salon’s operations. The design ensures a functional yet warm space where customers can feel comfortable.
Harmony Between Exterior and Interior Creating Appeal
sabrina hair harmonizes exterior and interior designs, resulting in an attractive and functional hair salon. By renovating an existing residence, the project creates a distinctive space that offers new value.
